Rare! A clear and stunning Heliobatis Radians, or "Stingray," fossil from the Green River Formation in Wyoming. This is a large plate - measuring approximately 14" x 18.25" and nearly 2" thick. This ray is an inlay piece,dug from the split layers of the Dempsey Ranch.This fossil is mostly complete with little restoration.Fossil is backed on 3/4 Birch plywood.Thanks for looking.
