    Description

    2019 version of Olympus Mons boots. Recommended over newest “cube” version because they avoid angled ankle zipper and the unnecessary Boa system (weird new designs from La Sportiva). Small crampon tears on inner foot on each boot from climbing Mt Everest — no change in boot temperature or water resilience, just a visual defect. I have added small cord loop to each outer shell zipper which makes it easier to zip at extreme low temperatures when wearing gloves.
    Size 44 which fits well for US size 10 to 11. Fits well with standard Black Diamond and Grivel crampons. Boots kept me very warm on summit of Cho Oyu and Mt Everest with single sock layer.
