This is a rare broadside (single page playbill) from the National Tour engagement of the WILLIAM INGE play "BUS STOP" at the Colonial Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts. (The production opened March 2nd, 1955 at the Music Box Theatre in New York City and ran for 478 performances while simultaneously playing on the road.) ..... The Pulitzer Prize winning play starred PEGGY ANN GARNER as "Cherie" (the role played by MARILYN MONROE in the motion picture released the same year) and featured DICK YORK, GLENN ANDERS, RUSSELL HARDIE, SALLY HESTER, WINIFRED AINSLEE, WALLACE ROONEY and JIM NOLAN ..... CONDITION: With the exception of moderate creasing, a small tear in the right edge and barely noticeable erased penciled notes at the top, this playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian.
