DESCRIPTION: For sale is a vintage circa 1972 DACOR LP Steel 72 Tank with Valve.  This tank is marked DOT 3AA 2250.  It is a chrome molybdenum steel seamless cylinder.  The first hydro test mark is 2C72+PST which states the hydro test date as February 1972.  The + means that it was originally rated for 10% overfilled.  The tank manufacturer was Pressed Steel Tanks (PST).
The tank exterior is coated in what appears to be black vinyl.  There is also a yellow plastic boot on the bottom.
CONDITION: This vintage tank and valve is an estate find. The entire history is not known. The last hydro certification was in 1983.  It has been stored with pressurized air.  The exterior coating has some scuffs and scrapes and a few minor gouges from the tank straps. This is being sold as is.
